What risks are associated with open aneurysm repair? or varicose vein surgery?
This reference tool is designed to provide information regarding some of the risks for common surgical procedures (at the moment we have included vascular surgery and breast surgery, although more specialties are coming very soon!)
The risks are stratified according to the European commission nomenclature for communicating frequency of adverse effects, and the data is all referenced accordingly.
Risks can be displayed graphically using smiley face charts, and also a section is included explaining some of the commonly used terms when explaining risk.
More updates are to follow, with more features being added, and more surgical specialties.
